A fresh look, wherever you build
MineSchematic has had a makeover, from browsing builds to editing your uploads. Clearer buttons, tidier menus and more readable text make it easier to find your way around. Light and dark mode now feel more consistent across the site, including pop-up windows and tools.
Find your next build - Improved
Get a closer look in the new 3D viewer
Move and resize the panels to make room for your build. Jump to a top or side view with the view cube, measure between blocks, save a picture, or click a block to see its name and coordinates. Step through the build one layer at a time, play through the layers automatically, and keep earlier layers faintly visible as a guide.
Open a schematic in 3D - New
Take a closer look at redstone
The 3D viewer now helps you find redstone components and inspect their saved settings, including repeater delays and which way components face. Jump straight to a component in the build to see how it is placed. This is a way to study the saved build, rather than run a working redstone simulation.
Explore redstone builds - New
Plan what to gather before you start building
Use the materials planner in the viewer to keep track of what you need and what you already have. See the quantities still to collect, with stack and shulker-box estimates to help plan your storage. Your collected amounts are remembered in this browser for that schematic.
Choose a build to plan - New
Follow a material back to its ingredients
Wondering how to get a block? Choose “How to get materials” on a schematic or in the materials calculator. Explore a branching recipe guide with crafting layouts, ingredient choices and tips on where to gather resources. Missing recipes are marked clearly so you know what still needs checking.
Explore the recipe guide - New
Turn your building list into a gathering list
Paste in the materials you need, subtract the supplies you already own, and the Building Materials Calculator works back through the recipes. See the raw materials to gather, crafting steps and leftovers, with an option to favour stonecutting.
Calculate building materials - New
Find a better depth to mine
The Ore Distribution tool lets you compare ore heights for different Minecraft Java versions and biomes, in the Overworld and Nether. Drag the depth marker to explore underground, with cave guides to help you decide where to look. It explains generation patterns, rather than locating ore in your particular world.
Explore ore and cave depths - New
Work out where to stand at your mob farm
Enter your farm platform and player position to check the distances where ordinary hostile mobs can spawn or despawn in Java Edition. Get a suggested place to stand while you wait. Light levels, nearby mobs and other spawning rules still matter too.
Plan your AFK position - New
Spot dark patches before mobs do
Lay out lights on a flat floor plan and see which spaces still need light. Try different light sources and heights, place lights yourself, or generate a suggested layout. Choose the lighting rules for your version of Java Edition.
Plan your lighting - New
Take the guesswork out of comparator signals
Work out the redstone signal from a container and how many items you need to reach a particular strength. You can also check a comparator in compare or subtract mode before building your circuit.
Calculate a comparator signal - New
Bring enough fuel for the whole job
Enter how many items you are smelting, your fuel and how many furnaces you are using. See how much fuel to bring and how long the job should take, including options for blast furnaces and smokers.
Calculate fuel and smelting time - Improved
Build arches your way
The Shape Generator now gives you more control over arches, including their rise, thickness and supporting piers. Preview your arch in 3D, pick its blocks and download it as a schematic.
Design an arch - Improved
New blocks and recipes from Java 26.2
The viewer, building palettes, pixel art tools and command pickers now include the new Java 26.2 blocks and items, with updated pictures and crafting recipes. Older version choices remain available where supported. The Seed Map has not moved to 26.2 yet; its supported versions are shown in the tool.

Find builds that work in your Minecraft version
The “Works in” filter checks the blocks a build uses, rather than just the version its creator saved it in. Browse, search and category pages now share the same filters, including build size and type. Build previews also have a consistent layout, and block lists use Minecraft pictures to make materials easier to recognise.

Smart uploads
Drop in a schematic and MineSchematic renders a preview, reads the build data and drafts the listing for you. Reorient the model in 3D and take your own shots before publishing, and upload in bulk when importing a back catalogue.
Upload a build - Improved
Rebuilt editing workspace
Editing a listing now uses the same workspace as uploading, with the 3D viewer alongside the fields instead of a separate page.
- Fixed
Image uploads working again
Fixed a problem that stopped some uploaded pictures from being accepted. You can add preview and gallery pictures again.
- New
Litematica guides
Four written guides: installing Litematica, how it compares to WorldEdit and Schematica, which schematic sites are worth using, and alternatives to Abfielder.

Materials list and download counts
The materials list is back on builds where it had stopped rendering, and downloads are counted correctly again.
- Fixed
Browse layout on phones
Browse no longer drops into a cramped two-column grid on narrow screens.
- New
See your builds at night
Preview how your build looks at night, with clearer lighting and more accurate pictures on signs and other blocks.

Seed map
Explore a Java world seed on a map. Find biomes, structures, strongholds, slime chunks and spawn, jump to coordinates, and share a link to a location. Launched with versions 1.18 to 1.21 across the Overworld, Nether and End.
Open the seed map - New
Block palette generator
Browse building palettes matched to real blocks and grouped by role, filter by colour or block, and share a palette by link.
Generate a palette - New
Minecraft tools hub
Command generators for /give, /summon, /fill and /setblock, plus tellraw, title, sign and book text. Designers for banners, fireworks and potions. Calculators for XP, enchanting, anvil costs and beacons, and a superflat preset generator.
Browse the tools - Improved
Duplicate upload warning
Re-uploading a file you have already published now warns you rather than quietly creating a second listing.
- New
Creator profiles and sharing
Every creator gets a page showing their builds, with sharing options, badges and picture previews when sharing a build elsewhere.
- New
Build data on every listing
Listings now show dimensions, total block count and the blocks a build uses most, computed from the file itself.
- Improved
Design refresh
A pass over the whole interface: consistent spacing and colour, rounder surfaces, and a properly matched dark mode.
- Improved
Stronger malware scanning on uploads
Every uploaded file is checked before it is published. These checks are now more reliable.

Faster image loading
Build pictures now load at a size that suits your screen, so browsing and searching use less data.
