About Minecraft Seed Map

Enter a Minecraft Java seed and explore the world on a fast, pannable, zoomable biome map, just like an online map. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, and click anywhere to read the biome and its coordinates. Toggle layers for structures, strongholds, slime chunks and world spawn, or filter to a single structure type.

Find the nearest village, stronghold, ocean monument, woodland mansion or any other structure with one click, jump straight to any X and Z coordinates, and copy a ready-to-paste /tp command. It covers the Overworld, Nether and End across Java 1.8 to 1.21, including the Large Biomes world type, and runs entirely in your browser.

Find any structure fast

Open the Structures panel to toggle villages, pillager outposts, ocean monuments, woodland mansions, desert pyramids, jungle temples, igloos, witch huts, ruined portals, shipwrecks, ocean ruins, buried treasure, ancient cities, trial chambers and trail ruins individually, plus nether fortresses, bastion remnants and end cities in their own dimensions. Click the locate button next to any type to jump to the nearest one and see how far it is, type any coordinates into the Go to box to fly there, and click a marker for its exact position and a copyable /tp command. Every structure is validated against the biome it needs, so it matches what you find in game.

Biomes, strongholds, slime chunks and spawn

The map renders biomes straight from the seed and snaps stronghold positions to their generation rings. Turn on the Slime layer to shade Java slime chunks when you zoom in, and the Spawn layer to mark the world spawn. A center crosshair shows exactly where the Go to box and the structure finder operate.

Every Java version and Large Biomes

Switch between Java 1.8 and 1.21 and the Overworld, Nether and End from the controls above the map, and turn on Large Biomes to preview that world type. Biome generation comes from cubiomes, the community-standard world generation library, compiled to WebAssembly and run across several background workers, so the map stays sharp and responsive at every zoom level instead of freezing or going blocky.

Frequently asked questions

Which versions and dimensions are supported?
Java Edition 1.8 through 1.21, in the Overworld, Nether and End, plus the Large Biomes world type. Pick them with the controls above the map. Older versions are best effort, and structures that did not exist in a version simply do not appear.
How do I find the nearest village or stronghold?
Open the Structures panel and click the locate button next to a type, such as Village or Woodland Mansion. The map jumps to the closest one and shows its distance and a /tp command. Strongholds and world spawn have their own layer toggles.
Can I jump to specific coordinates?
Yes. Type an X and Z into the Go to box and the map centers there, with a crosshair marking the spot. The current center coordinates are always shown at the top.
Does it show slime chunks?
Yes, for Java. Turn on the Slime layer and zoom in, and slime chunks are shaded green.
Does this work for Bedrock?
Biome and structure maps are Java only for now. The slime-chunk math also matches Bedrock, but full Bedrock biome maps use a separate engine that is not included yet.
Can I use a word seed?
Yes. Word seeds are hashed with Java String.hashCode, exactly like Minecraft Java, and numeric seeds use the signed 64-bit value.
Is the seed map free?
Yes, it runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up.
