About Minecraft Cylinder Generator

This Minecraft cylinder generator stacks a perfect circle up to 128 blocks high, with a radius from 1 to 48. It is the quickest way to plan round towers, grain silos, wizard towers, tanks and pillars.

Keep it hollow to get the tower walls with room inside, then download it as a .litematic for Litematica or a .schem for WorldEdit.

How to build a round tower

Every layer of a cylinder is the same circle, so you only need to learn one ring. Open Layer View, build the bottom circle, then repeat it upwards to the height you want. Add windows and floors once the shell is up.

Wall thickness

Hollow cylinders have walls from 1 to 8 blocks thick. Thicker walls look more like a castle tower and leave room for staircases built into the wall; thin walls give the most space inside.

Topping it off

Pair a cylinder with the cone generator for a pointed roof or the dome generator for a rounded cap, using the same radius so the two pieces line up.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a round tower in Minecraft?
Set the radius and height in the cylinder generator, keep it hollow, and build the same circle on every layer. Download it as a .litematic if you want Litematica to show the exact blocks.
How tall can the cylinder be?
Up to 128 blocks high with a radius up to 48.
Can I make a solid pillar?
Yes. Turn on Filled to fill the cylinder completely, which suits pillars and columns.
Which schematic formats can I download?
Choose .litematic for Litematica, .schem for WorldEdit or FAWE, .nbt for a vanilla structure block, or JSON for your own scripts. The schematic is built from the block you pick in the Material menu.
How do I add a roof to a cylinder?
Generate a cone or dome with the same radius and place it on top. Both have their own dedicated generator pages.
