About Minecraft Circle Generator

This Minecraft circle generator works out exactly which blocks make a round circle at any radius from 1 to 64. Switch to Layer View for a top-down blueprint you can copy block by block in survival, or keep it hollow to get a ring with the wall thickness you want.

When the circle looks right, download it as a .litematic and let Litematica show you where every block goes, or as a .schem to paste with WorldEdit.

How to build a circle in Minecraft

Set the radius, open Layer View and start from the centre row, which is the widest. Count out the blocks in each row and mirror them on all four sides, since every pixel circle is symmetrical. For large circles, mark the centre block first and count outwards so the rows stay lined up.

Hollow ring or filled disc

Hollow circles keep only the outline, with a wall thickness from 1 to 8 blocks, which suits towers, walls and fountains. Turn on Filled for a solid disc, useful for floors, platforms and the base of round builds.

Circle size and diameter

The generator centres every circle on a single block, so the diameter is always twice the radius plus one: a radius of 8 gives a circle 17 blocks across. The Summary panel shows the exact dimensions and block count as you adjust it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a perfect circle in Minecraft?
Set the radius in the circle generator and switch to Layer View. It shows a top-down grid of exactly which blocks to place, so you can copy it row by row, or download a .litematic and follow the Litematica overlay.
How big a circle can I generate?
Any radius from 1 to 64 blocks, which is up to 129 blocks across. The block count and dimensions update as you change the size.
Can I make a hollow circle or ring?
Yes. Circles are hollow by default with an adjustable wall thickness from 1 to 8 blocks. Turn on Filled for a solid disc.
Which schematic formats can I download?
Choose .litematic for Litematica, .schem for WorldEdit or FAWE, .nbt for a vanilla structure block, or JSON for your own scripts. The schematic is built from the block you pick in the Material menu.
Is the circle generator free?
Yes. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no sign-up.
